Since its establishment in 1963, it has specialized producing the highest rated tape measures in terms of technology, quality, and design. Our tape measures can be found in over 80 countries.  Located on the southern coast of South Korea, Komelon has its head office and tape measure production facility near Busan. Komelon began business in 1963 producing insulating tape. By 1974, its focus had changed to the manufacture of tape measures and other measuring devises. The name, Komelon, was then registered as its trademark. Komelon developed the newest fiberglass compression technology, elevating the quality of fiberglass tape measures to the highest level in the world.  In 1995, Komelon Steel Corporation was established in Incheon, South Korea. This is a rolling mill that allows Komelon to control the quality of all materials used in the process of producing the best measuring tools that can be found. Komelon could now supervise every aspect of disbursing its fine product-from production to marketing and distribution.
