The technology of IVTS which is InfoVision Terminal System is first time in the world and published on Guiness World 2000 Limited Edition.  IVTS can be applied in the field of ITS (Intelligent Transport System) worldwide as well as to guide public transportation. CMW Co., Ltd is working on technical investment and to localize the service in Korea and international market. IVTS (developed in cooperation of CMK and SK Telecom) has applied for a patent in 22 countries.   IVTS, the most advanced information system, can provide information on the bus stops (vocal, character, graphic) and traffic situations as well as the real-time news for the passengers. In consortium with Korea VAN, IVTS provides drivers with traffic situations of which the vehicle is headed, expected time needed to reach the destination, emergency assistant, vehicle dispatch control and much more conveniences.  IVTS uses wireless communication network of SK Telecom, which would provide real-time information for the disadvantageous locations, to receive information through wired communication network.  IVTS was developed with the purpose to provide varied information to the customers. The contents and type of the information will differ according to the peculiarity of each location and the purpose of information provided. The contents may be classified into real-time news, weather forecast, sports news and the information on stock exchange, financial affairs and real estate. Information of each local government, public organizations, administrators' publicity, commercial and public benefit advertisements can be included in the contents of the information provided through IVTS.
