As indicated by its name, PT. South East Asia Pipe Industries, is designed to service major customer in South East Asia region. The major shareholder of the company is PT. Bakrie & Brothers Tbk., which is in core business: telecommunications, infrastructure support, strategic investment and plantations, has already been in steel pipe business since 1960.   SEAPI is the third steel pipe mills owned by PT. Bakrie & Brothers Tbk. SEAPI produces Longitudinal Double Submerged Arc Welding (DSAW) pipes, with diameter from 24" to 48", wall thickness up to 32 mm and length 12.2 m maximum.
