Our requirement of steel is for manufacture of LPG cylinders. The required mechanical properties, chemical composition, specifications and dimensions of the steel are as follows:  1. MECHANICAL PROPERTIES:  Fine Grain, Firebox, Deepdrawing quality HR steel having the following main characteristics  Yield strength : 240 N/mm2 Tensile Strength : 360 N/mm2 min – 450 N/mm2 max Elongation : 30% measured min   2. CHEMICAL COMPOSITION:  Carbon : 0.17 % max Silicon : 0.10 % max Manganese : 0.90 % max Phosphorus : 0.03 % max Sulphur : 0.03 % max P+S : 0.04 % max Al : 0.02 % min Nitrogen : 0.098 % max    3. GOVERNING SPECIFICATIONS:  For the production of cylinder body and pressure parts, according to  EUROPEAN STANDARD:  NF-EN-10120, GRADE 255 NB-BS2 SG (255126)   OR NB-BS2-265    OR NB-BS1-245    OR JIS G 3116    OR USA: ASTM A 285 GRADE A OR SAE 102    Certificate of origin to be submitted, approved by third party inspector and by appropriate authorities.  4. DIMENSIONS:  The steel can be supplied in the form of coils or sheets as per following dimensions.  a) Coils: Coils of  Height : min 20 MT Width : 1090 ? 10 mm Thickness : 3.30 mm nominal  b) Sheets: Width : 1180 mm ? 5 mm Length : 2360 mm ? 10 mm Thickness : 3.30 mm (Nominal)  Sheets packed in pallets (50 sheets each)  5. QUANTITY:  The requirement is in the range of 5000 MT with a monthly shipment of  800 MT – 1000 MT    6. PORT OF DISCHARGE:  The offer shall be on CIF KOLKATA or HALDIA BASIS  Please furnish your offer, giving details of:  a) Specification b) Commercial conditions c) Time required for commencement of supply etc
