Santana Motor S.A. is principally involved in the manufacturing, selling and financing of all terrain motor vehicles under the trademark "Suzuki". In 1998 Santana Motor Andulucia, S.L., was formed and its activities are the manufacture of motor vehicles and spare parts for Santana Motor. Its principal manufacturing plants are located in the city of Linares. New models introduced were the "Samurai" and the "Jimny". 1998 was the first year of consolidation. Finished goods accounted for 76% of 1999 revenues; merchandise, 18% and spare parts and accessories 6%.
