Manuli Rubber Industries SPA. The Company's main activities are the design, manufacture and sell of components and systems mainly for other industries through three business groups. The automotive group is involved in the design, production and sale of reinforced rubber and composite hoses, metal fittings, hose assemblies and other components for conveying fluids in automotive applications. The hydraulics group designs, produces and distributes reinforced rubber hoses, metal fittings, hose assemblies and fluid connectors for conveying fluids in medium, high and very high pressure hydraulic systems. The oil and marine group manufactures floating and sub sea bore reinforced rubber hoses. Automotive components accounted for 48% of 2002 revenues; hydraulic components, 47% and oil and marine products , 5%.
