Nippon Cable System Incorporated. The Group's principal activity is to manufacture and sell remote control cables and accessories for vehicles, nuclear reactors and ships. The Group has seventeen consolidated subsidiaries, four each in Japan and USA, two in Indonesia and one each in the Republic of Korea, Mexico, India, Vietnam, UK, China and Brazil. The Group is also involved in the manufacture and sale of window regulators. Control cables accounted for 58% of 2002 revenues and window regulators and others, 42%.
