Meiwa Corporation. The Group's principal activities are domestic trade, import, export and triangular trade. Operations are carried out through the following divisions: chemicals-related (organic and inorganic industrial chemicals, petrochemicals, food additives, agricultural chemicals, medical supplies, synthetic rubber and manure); synthetic resins (synthetic resin materials and products); functional construction materials (construction materials such as glass fiber, wood and wood products); fuel and merchandise (oil products, carbon products, casting products and glassware) and others (foods, semiconductor building materials, environmental improvement materials and industrial machines). Chemicals-related accounted for 33% of fiscal 2002 revenues; functional construction materials, 23%; synthetic resin, 22%; fuel and merchandise, 17% and others, 5%.
