It sells the electrical power to utility companies as well as to the mining industry and other industrial customers. The Company also produces industrial equipment such as air purification machinery, systems for ultra-sterile rooms & micro-electronic applications and machines for the manufacturing of compact discs. It is also involved in operating waste disposal and recycling plants, district heat supply, civil & nuclear engineering consultant and real estate management. National power generation and supply accounted for 71% of 2001 revenues; industrial electronic systems, 14%; international power generation and supply, 14% and other, 1%.
