Enbridge Incorporated. The Group's principal activities are transportation and distribution of energy. The Group operates through three segments: Energy transportation, Energy distribution and International and other. The Energy transportation segment includes the operation of a common carrier pipeline and feeder pipelines, which transports crude oil and other liquid hydrocarbons. The Energy distribution segment consists of gas utility operations. This segment serves to residential, commercial, industrial and transportation customers. The International and other segment invest in energy transportation and related energy projects outside Canada and the United States. The operations of the Group are carried out in Canada, the United States and other foreign countries. In 2002, the Group disposed energy business services activities. Energy Distribution accounted for 55% of 2002 revenues; Energy Transportation, 44% and International and Other, 1%.
