Gaz de France(GDF). The Company's principal activities are the exploration, production and distribution of natural and liquefied natural gas, and installation of systems into buildings. The Company also cooperates with local governments to recycle gases produced by municipal landfills. The Company is also involved in the development of new uses for gas such as co generation, air-conditioning and natural gas for vehicles. Sales of natural gas accounted for 87% of 2001 revenues and services and other, 13%.
