North Shore Gas Company. The Company's principal activities are to purchase, store, distribute and market natural gas. The Company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Peoples Energy Corporation. The Company has approximately 150,000 residential, commercial and industrial retail sales and transportation customers within its service area of approximately 275 square miles, located in northeastern Illinois.
