Texas Gas Transmission Corporation. The Group's principal activity is to own and operate a natural gas pipeline system originating in the Louisiana Gulf Coast area and in East Texas. The Group is a wholly owned subsidiary of Williams Gas Pipeline Company, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Williams Companies, Inc. The Group provides natural gas pipelines to east of Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio and Illinois. The Group's direct market area encompasses eight states in the South and Midwest, and includes the Memphis, Tennessee; Louisville, Kentucky; Cincinnati, Ohio; and the Evansville and Indianapolis, Indiana metropolitan areas. Gas Transportation accounted for 98% of 2002 revenues; Gas Storage, 1% and Other, 1%.
