Toho Gas Co Ltd. The Group's principal activity is the distribution of gas and energy-related services to residential, business and industrial customers. Operations are carried out through the following divisions: Gas & by- products (gas and coke); Gas engineering & appliances (gas engineering and appliances such as air conditioners, water heaters and heating equipment); LPG (LPG and LPG products); Other (oil and chemical products, building rentals, information systems, construction and leasing). Gas and gas by-products accounted for 66% of fiscal 2002 revenues; gas piping works, equipment and appliances, 13%; LPG, 12% and other, 9%.
