L'Entreprise Industrielle (EI) SA provides electrical works, public works and civil engineering projects. Projects include industrial electrical works, electric networks, the construction of installations, the development of public lighting projects, telecommunication and televisual services and air conditioning. 46% of projects are in the private domain while 54% are for public bodies. The group's main subsidiary is Ste Nouvelle des Etablissements Jules Verger et Delporte. In 1999 the company sold its subsidiary EI GCC which specialised in civil engineering and building activities. Engineering, equipment, electrical works and communications accounted for 72% of 1999 revenues; civil engineering and construction, 11% and other activities 17%.
