The Group's principal activity is that of an investment holding, civil, marine and structural engineering contract works which include construction of bridges, marine ports, heavy concrete foundations, factory complexes and other similar construction works. In addition, the Group manufactures engineering products and non-carbon paper, manufactures and fabricates metal construction structures and designs, manufactures, supplies services cranes, blasts and coats steel. Other activities of the Group includes designing and selling of containers and refrigerator containers; ship repair services and management services. Construction accounted for 58% of 2001 revenues; cranes, 30%; manufacturing and trading, 10% and ship repair and building, 2%.
