The Group's principal activities are the development, manufacture and marketing of industrial springs, cables, industrial valves and sound-absorbent details for the off-road equipment industry. Other operations include the wholesale distribution of non-ferrous metals, steel and industrial raw materials, heating, plumbing and ventilation products. The Group has subsidiaries and associated companies in Scandinavia, the rest of Europe, the USA and Asia. Industrial springs accounted for 49% of 2002 revenues; cables, 36%; metal steel and trading, 8% and other, 7%.
