Fairfield Enterprises Plc has a subsidiary, Oscar Friedheim, which is the leading supplier of graphic arts machinery in the UK. Another subsidiary, Lasercomb Dies, manufactures paper handling and cutting systems. In 1998 the company acquired Palatine Engraving, based Liverpool and Dumbarton, while the Friedheim Knife Services company was acquired by a wholly owned subsidiary of Fairfield Enterprises Plc.
