Skellerup Group Limited operates through four divisions; Manufacturing, Distribution, Retailing and DML Resources. The Manufacturing division consists of 10 subsidiaries. The group manufactures light and heavy engineering equipment, industrial food, pharmaceutical sodium chloride and animal salt products, industrial vacuum pumps, number plates, parking systems and quality decorative paint and specialist industrial coatings. In the Distribution sector, the group imports, exports and distributes fashionable domestic textiles, industrial hose, hose fittings and valves, industrial, marine and engineering products and commercial flooring products. The group retails gardening and decorative supplies. DML Resources is a contract miner and earthmover; quarry operator and gold producer. Manufacturing accounted for 41% of fiscal 1995 revenues; distribution, 29%; retailing, 15% and others (DML Resources), 15%.
