Morton Industrial Group, Inc.. The Group's principal activities are to manufacture engineered metal components and subassemblies for industrial, construction, agricultural and recreational vehicle original equipment manufacturers (OEM's). Metal products include cabs, engine enclosures, panels, platforms, frames and complex weldments used in backhoes, excavators, tractors, motor homes and similar industrial equipment. The major customers include Deere & Co and Caterpillar Inc. The Group's seven manufacturing facilities are located in the Midwestern and southeastern United States in close proximity to the customers. During the year 2002, the Group discontinued its plastics fabrication business.
