Cedar Fair, L.P.. The Group's principal activity is the operation of amusement parks. It operates six parks, namely, Cedar Point in Ohio, Knott's Berry Farm in California, Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom in Pennsylvania, Valleyfair in Minnesota, Worlds of Fun in Missouri and Michigan's Adventure in Michigan. The Group also owns separate-gated water parks near San Diego and in Palm Springs, California. It operates Camp Snoopy, a 7-acre indoor amusement park at the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota. The parks are family-oriented, with recreational facilities for people of all ages and provide rides, entertainment and hotel facilities. Five of the parks have a 130 day-operating season and each park charges a basic daily admission price, which allows unlimited use of most rides and attractions. Admission fees accounted for 50% of 2002 revenues; Food, merchandise and games, 40% and Accommodations and other, 10%.
