The Group's principal activities are the provision of an integrated professional support services solutions to organisations across local government, central government, education and the private sector. It operates through four divisions comprising business services, commercial services, professional services and integrated services. In 2002 the Group acquired City Financial Group Ltd, Capita Absence Management Ltd, Mission Testing PLC, Cost Auditing Ltd and three human resource businesses (Veredus) from PricewaterhouseCoopers. Business services accounted for 30% of 2002 revenues; commercial services, 28%; professional services, 22% and integrated services, 20%.
