Equity Investor Fund (The). The Company's principal activity is to provide an opportunity to invest in common shares of the predivestiture American Telephone and Telegraph company (AT&T). The fund's holdings consist mainly of shares of the American Telephone and Telegraph Company and the seven regional holding companies created pursuant to the AT&T Plan of reorganization.
