Gartmore Distribution Trust PLC Formerly known as Gartmore Monthly Income Trust PLC. The Company's principal activity is that of an Investment Trust. The objective of the company is to provide shareholders with a high and increasing level of monthly dividend income together with the potential for capital growth, while maintaining a satisfactory level of cover on the GMIT Securities Zeros. The Company is an investment company as defined by Section 266 of the Companies Act 1985.Investment management services are provided by Gartmore Investment Ltd for a fee calculated at the rate of 0.4% per annum on the Total Assets Less Current Liabilities and payable at the end of each calendar month. With effect from 01-May-2002, the management fee will be calculated at 0.5% per annum on the value of Total Assets, less Current Liabilities. The manager also provides secretarial and administrative services. The Agreement provides for twelve month's notice of termination to be given by either side.
