PAKIT has developed a new fibre moulding process that creates a new type of moulded fibre product called Moulded Board(TM). The product has a smooth surface on both sides for improved aesthetic appeal and it competes well with plastics. The density and stiffness of the finished material is high for improved product performance and stacking. The lines operate in a "closed loop" and the process uses approximately 50% of the energy required for a conventional pulp moulding line.
