It handles like no other bike I have ever ridden, but I hate to say it scares me but it does I have nightmare of getting in accidents and I need to sell to relieve mine and my wife's head. The bike is well taken care of, never been wrecked, I only use synthetic oil so the engine last longer. I've driven it on a couple of very long rides. And it resides in my basement getting dusty. The only crazy thing done on the bike was a friend of mine who is a racer did a burn out on it. Other than that it has been babied.  The new owner know that this is for serious rider it is not a beginner bike. 2001 stock specs the bike ran 9.7 in the quarter mile. And at 6,000 rpm to 14.5 is all power band that is insane. I felt it once and that is when I decided I need to sell it or I will kill myself. I thought I was experienced enough to handle this bike, but it was more than I could handle. What I'm trying to say is don't buy this for your kid unless he's into racing. I've had a lot of parents and I had to turn them down because they were buying them for thier kids in high school for there first bike. These are the young one in high school doing the trick with not enough experience and getting injured.   Since the bike is exactly stock there is not much for me to say.
