COMBINED SYNOPSIS - SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS (IAW FAR 12.603 (c)) (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation/synopsis reference number is F1M21X8050A001 and is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Fac 2005-24 & Class Deviation 2005-o0001, effective 28 February 2008. (iv) This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The associated NAICS code is 334310 with an 750 employee size standard. (v) Contractors shall submit a quote to supply and install a explosion proof public address system on Charleston AFB, SC. Statement of Work: - This requirement is for installing a PA system in Aircraft Structural Maintenance section in bldg 536. The PA system will cover 10 rooms, paint booth, sanding booth, and one outside speaker. We will need a base amplifier, desk paging mic, a paging speaker in each room; most of the rooms will have a lot of noise from machines and air tools. The average size of 10 rooms is 2000 square feet. The paint and sanding booth will require having explosion proof equipment in the booths.
