This is a combined synopsis/solicitation on ?Brand Name or Equal? basis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This procurement is not a small business set-aside; any responsible source may submit an offer. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. THE AGENCY?S NEEDS: TEM NO. 0001 Material Handler Boom Truck QTY: 1 EACH. ITEM NO. 0002 Scooped Loader, Tracked, QTY: 1 EACH. DESCRIPTION/SPECIFICATIONS/WORK STATEMENTS Item 0001: Materials Handler Boom Truck, QTY: One (1) 1. VEHICLE SPECIFICATIONS: (1) TYPE OF EQUIPMENT: Reach Stacker for 40 ft and 20 ft containers. (2) CONTAINER STACKING CAPACITY: First row four tiers, second row three tiers and third row two tiers. (3) MAXIMUM OPERATING CAPACITY: No less than 42 ton. (4) SPREADER: Manufacturer?s standard 40/20 ft combination spreader. Equipped with 200 mm over height twist locks and tilt mechanism. Side shift amount shall be approx. 800 mm. right and left each. Provide spreader guide for one side (5) COLOR: Yellow shall be the main color. (6) PAINT: Manufacturer?s standard paint. (23) INSTRUMENT PANEL: Manufacturer?s standard comprehensive instrumentation to include engine temperature, transmission oil temperature, fuel, speed, and hour meter. (24) HEAD LIGHTS: Manufacturer?s standard halogen head lights. (25) WORKING LIGHTS: Manufacturer?s standard working lights for rear, spreader and telescopic boom. (26) BEACON LIGHT: Manufacturer?s standard yellow beacon light at rear end. (27) SPEAKER: Manufacturer?s standard loudspeaker. (28) TOOLS: Manufacturer?s standard tools and a cartridge type one hand operated grease gun with flexible nozzle. (29) AIR JACK: Appropriate size air jack for lifting up wheels. (30) STACKER CORN CONTAINER: Install stainless steel box for holding stacker corns of 20 pieces at appropriate locations. Water drain required. (31) FUEL TANK: No less than 500 liters. (32) TIRES: Manufacturer?s standard tires. (33) SPARE TIRES ON RIM: One (1) each for front & rear (34) AUDIO: Minimum of AM radio. (35) BACK-UP MONITOR: Manufacturer?s standard back-up monitor. (36) FIRE EXTINGUISHER: Place one (1) 1 kg. all types fire extinguisher inside cab. (37) SAFETY DEVICES: Lift interlock, Twist interlock, Overload protection and Door interlock. (38) Operator?s decals shall be written in Japanese. (39) Load weight display shall indicate weights by tons. (40) All other manufacturer?s standard safety devices, equipment and accessories not listed above. (41) HYDRAULIC OIL: Provide 20 liters hydraulic oil in a container. (42) Vehicle with visible rusts and a dirty condition shall not be acceptable. 2. SUBMITTALS: a. Warranty and Manuals: (1) One (1) year warranty on entire equipment include paint job.
