I've made a prototype of the cable. I used the following parts: A shielded audio cable: digikey part number CP-2203-ND And a Dallas Semiconductor DS18B20 temperature sensor: digikey part number DS18B20+-ND See photo for complete heat shrunk prototype. Can you please provide quotes for 1000 pieces at 3' and 1000 pieces at 6'. I can provide the pin-out if necessary for your quote.
