1.Each duty belt shall comprises the following items: a. One nylon web outer belt. 2 inches in width. The inside portion of the belt shall be fixed with the male hooks of the Velcro; b. Two inner belts, 1.75 inches in width which consist of an outer layer of female Velcro; c. Triple locking plastic buckle; d. Two pieces of plastic belt loops to secure the two ends of the outer belt attached to the buckle; and e. 4 pieces of belt keepers, which are separated from outer belt and inner belts. The belt keepers are meant to be fixed over both outer and inner belts to secure the belts together. Each belt keepers is closed by using double snap buttons.  2.The outer belt shall a. be constructed with double layer tough nylon web material capable of   withstanding rough handling and normal wear and tear; b. have edges of the belt to be properly sealed to facilitate easy installation   of the accessories (holster, beltkeeper etc).  c. be highly resistant against heat, moisture, humidity and petroleum products   without compromising on its life span; d. have tensile strength of at least 270 lbs-inch for machine direction and   286 for cross machine direction (ASTM-D-5034-90 Grab Method); and e. have tear strength of at least 70 lbs for both machine and cross machine   direction (ASTM-D-1117-80 Trapezoid Method). The inner belts shall be constructed with tough 1.75 inches nylon web material. 3.The buckle shall a. be made of high quality plastic;  b. have strength of at least 165 kg before breaking; and c. have a triple-locking mechanism to prevent unnecessary or accidental unbuckling.  4.All Velcro fixed to the outer and inner belts shall: a. a sheer strength of at least 3 upon receipt and at least 2 after 5,000 open/close   cycle (BS 7271); and b. a peel strength of at least 11 upon receipt and at least 5.5 after 5,000 open/close   cycle (BS 7271). 5.The belt loops shall be made of high quality plastic, nylon or equivalent material. 6.The belt keepers shall: a. be made of black material similar in nature and appearance to the belt system; and b. have 2 snap buttons per piece; and c. shall have snap test strength of at least 15 kg for snap button 1 and 2. 6.The duty belts shall come with the following sizes: a. Size Small Length: 26 30 inches (660-762mm); b. Size Medium Length: 32 36 inches (813-914mm); c. Size Large Length: 38 42 inches (965-1067mm); and d. Size X-Large Length: 44 48 inches (1118-1219mm); 7.The nylon web duty belt shall have a shelf life of 5 years under the following storage environment: a. Storage temperature 0? C to 63? C (short term); b. Storage temperature 20? C to 40? C (long term); c. Operation temperature 0? C to 63? C; and; d. Relative Humidity up to 98%.
