Jack must be able to mount in 5/16" hole through sheet metal mounting plate. Must be rugged and durable. No need to PCB mount; soldering wires to lugs. Can be similar to TRS with tip shunt, but instead switch must connect to sleeve when plug is inserted. Can be wafer-style construction. Would like to purchase complete with washer and nut.
