I make airplane covers to a small market. I would not buy very much until I worked with the material and verified that it would sew and would survive outside in the wind and rain. What I plan to do is very similar to the best of the car cover companies. Also the product I seek would likely be similar to Kimberly Clark line of non woven material you can see at blockit dot com. Tight weave dacrons and polyesters do not breathe. Canvas is to big and bulky to take along in a small airplane where space is limited. I am looking for a multi-layer material. Top layer is water resistant top bonded to a microfiber non woven underside material that will not scratch the paint. I can use chemicals to boost the water resistance of the top material. It has to be light weight. No dark colors. Only white and light beige.
