The film normally contains about 1 or 2%moisture as shipped. At a relative humidity of 80%, Dartek will absorbwater up to a moisture content of about 6%. The physical properties ofthis film are greatly influenced by the water content. At low watercontent, Dartek seems brittle like Mylar but as its water contentincreases, Dartek becomes softer and tougher.
