The specification of the passenger boat for Congo 1, General performance 1.1 Appliance and boat type Appliance : This boat is used in Congo , for the travel used in river ,lake . It is a professional speed passenger boat . 1.1.2 Boat type This boat is a FRP slicing passenger boat . The boat type is trimer slicing , conduplicate skimming boat type . Forced by diesel engine , double engines and double propellers. 1.2 Main performance 1.2.1 Main size Total length : 13.274m Total width : 3.963m Total height( Including antenna) : 5.000m Depth : 1.468m Tonnage : 9.870t Sea gauge : 0.538m 1.2.2 Stability The stability of this boat will meet the requests of the Freshwater speed boat level and construction standard (2002) of Chinese bureau of Shipping, and Freshwater speed boat level and construction standard (1999) of Chinese register of shipping . 1.2.3 Wind resistance This boat will be safety when it is traveling in the 6-7 level wind . 1.2.4 Speed and endurance Under the following conditions , the speed will be 65km/h : 0-1 sea condition , used the designed displacement , use the maximum speed of the engine . Under the max tonnage condition , calculate with the economic speed 50km/h , endurance is 300 km . 1.3 Size of personnel force Crew number : 2 . One of them is the captain /driver , another one is the sailor. Passengers : 46 . 1.4 General arrangement : Under the condition of the practical performance , we try to make this boat more artistic, more fluent , speed sense will be more powerful . Two water-tide bulkhead will be located in #2, #14 position , so the hull was divided up as three water-tide compartment. The compartment of this boat from front to back is fore peak, cabin , engine room, and luggage room ; Upper compartment has toilet and cab . 2. Hull construction 2.1 Design rule We design this boat according to the Freshwater speed boat level and construction standard of Chinese bureau of Shipping . 2.2 Construction form and boat materials The construction form is single deck , vertical framework . superstructure is horizontal framework form .Rely on the water condition , hull used routine FRP materials , part of the material is core structure , in order to improve strength and rigidity , it may lighten the boat weight , improve all the index . 3. Fitting-out system 3.1 Equipments 3.1.1 Anchor system A powerful anchor will be set in the bow part , anchor and cabin chain will be in fore peak . 3.1.2 Dragging anchoring equipment Four anchoring parts will be set at the edge of the #2,#14 of the deck . Another dragging part will be set at stern deck . 3.1.3 Life saving system Two life rings and forty eighth life jackets will be arranged . 3.2 Deck equipments 3.2.1 Railings ,mast, backstay Both sides of the deck room will be set S.S railing ; the edge of Bow and stern deck will be set S.S guardrail ; mast will be located in stern deck ; a portal type backstay will be set on the top of the cab. 3.2.2 Door , window Tale of the deck room will has a double door , open onto the cab and cabin ;Left side is a folding door open onto the toilet. Ante theca of the cab is three aluminous fixed windows , and has a rain remover . And a rhombic movable window will be on the right of the cab . Each sides of the cabin will has 6 movable windows . Ante theca will has three trapezoid fixed windows . The top of the engine room will has a set of S.S blind . 3.2.3 Hatch cover , ladder A fore peak tank hatch cover will be set on the bow deck . Both the upper part of the engine room and the top of the cab will has a loop wheel machine hatch cover , and will be equipped with a examining hatch cover ; Two hatch covers will be set on the top of the luggage tank at stern deck. 3.3 Compartment facilities A set of console and chair will be set in the cab ; 45 leather cushioned with railings seats and 6 folding seats will be installed ; Foreside of the cabin will has a set of 29 plasma colorful TV and DVD; middle and tail part of the cabin will has two set of the luggage carriers . Lavatory pan , lavabo, mirror, towel rack will be set in toilet . 3.4 Compartment insulation Under-part wall of the cabin , will be used plywood , with inflaming retarding materials , upper-part wall and top of the cabin will be used veneer with ravidous decorative flannel ; The top and wall of the toilet will used water-tide veneer, driving cab floor will be charcoal grey floor cloth ; Cabin floor will be grayish chemical fiber carpet. 4, Power system 4.1 Main engine This boat we used two VOLVO PENTA D6-350/DP inboard/out board diesel engine , main parameters are as follows : Max power / rpm 257KW/3500r/min Continuous rating/rpm 252KW/3000r/min Fuel specific consumption(continuous rating) 212g/KW * h First overhaul period 6000h 4.2 Engine room Two engines will be set in the engine room. Every engine will has a engine air intake pre cleaner . And the other equipment , like instrumentation console , control box will be set too . Every engine will control a set of propeller . One engine will be located in the middle of the engine room ,another one will be foreside. 4.3 Detection and control Console is the control part for us to control the engine and aft engine . This boat has electrical telequipment and detecting system accompany with the main engine . We could control the engine accelerograph , choose gearbox movement .
