Section C - Statement of WorkCOB SPEICHERSTATEMENT OF WORK64 CONTAINERIZED HOUSING UNITS (CHUS)GENERAL: This project consists of supplying materials, labor and equipment necessary to supply and emplace 64 wet CHUs (non stackable). Dimensions: 3 meters x 10 meters (2.8 meters high)SUPPLY: The contractor shall provide sixty-four (64) prewired CHUs (2 room, 2 door, wet trailers, NON-stackable and compatible). CHUs will be a minimum size of 10 m x 3 m with an adjoined prewired central bathroom. The bathrooms entrance will be from the inside of the billeting rooms (one on each side with the bathroom in the middle) and not by an exterior door. When the bathroom is occupied, there shall be latches to secure each door. When a tenant is in their room, there will a bolt lock to prevent the tenant on the other side of the bathroom from gaining entrance to the opposite room. CHUs shall meet the following minimum requirements:General Requirements:1) All units must be made of new materials and can not be remanufactured.2) CHUS must be finished and ready to move in except for the utilities connections. This includes light fixtures, light bulbs, plumbing fixtures and interior electrical work.3) The exterior metal surfaces shall be made of galvanized steel with a UV resistant coated finish consisting of, at minimum, a base or primer coat and a top coat.4) All floors, walls, doors, and ceilings must be insulated.5) The use of wood paneling is not authorized as a finished surface. All finished surfaces are to be painted metal or heavy duty vinyl/composite materials.6) Floor covering shall be heavy duty linoleum (minimum of 2.5mm thickness) through out the trailer and be neutral in color, such as gray or tan. Base board floor trim shall be neutral in color and not made of pressed board.7) Exterior doors shall be commercial grade made of galvanized steel or aluminum, with a heavy duty commercial grade door handle, plated for corrosion resistance. Four sets of keys shall be provided for each door and the entire man-camp is to have master key accessibility. 8) Each window shall be lockable with inside mounted privacy blinds and have a screen.9) Exterior doors shall have a safety catch and spring to prevent damage during high wind operations.10) Interior doors from the bedroom into the bathroom shall have security chain or latch installed on the bedroom side of each door.11) Each exterior entrance shall have bolted or welded pre-fabricated steel steps for room access. Bedrooms:12) Each bedroom shall contain its own sink properly plumbed for hot and cold water. There is no requirement for a sink in the central bathroom.13) Each bedroom shall have a split-unit HVAC system (cooling and heating), appropriately sized for the room, with a means to disconnect it from the power source. A/C units shall have remote controls and be placed on metal stands to acommodate access for maintenance. 14) Each bedroom shall have a sink with storage cabinet (with door) underneath, a shelf and vanity mirror above the sink, a vanity light above the mirror, and a 220V GFI protected outlet. The sink shall be plumbed with p-trap drain pipe and all pipes shall be sealed around the floor to prevent sand, dust or water from entering the room; sink shall have mirror mounted on wall with sturdy shelving and a vanity light installed over the mirror.15) Each bedroom shall have a ceiling mounted smoke/CO2 detectors. These detectors shall be hard wired into the electrical supply system with a battery back-up. All detectors shall have a test feature. 16) Each bedroom shall have an ABC rated fire extinguisher (1kg min.) mounted near the exterior door.Bathrooms:17) Each bathroom shall have a western style toilet with a sturdy seat and lid. All fixtures shall be sealed to prevent .18) Each bathroom shall have a toilet paper dispenser.19) Electrical: 31) Each room shall have interior and exterior cable connections. Box will need to be installed with permanent external metal box outdoor rating and a permanent surface mount plastic box indoor rating. Each box will have two F Connector Jacks and one RJ45 Jack installed along with RG-59 & CAT5E cable connected from inside jack to outside jack as pass through cables. RJ45 Jacks will be terminated utilizing the TIA/EIA 568B standard connection.
