This instrument assesses a material's ability to resist external destruction by observing the test specimen's status after being impacted by a falling weight from a predetermined testing height.



Test Method:

In the Falling Ball Impact Test, a steel ball of known mass and diameter is released from a specific height, generating a controlled impact force on the test specimen film or plastic sheet. The resulting damage or deformation, along with the impact energy, is measured and analyzed to evaluate the material's impact resistance.
