Waste Bin Liners
Lower the plastic consumption of your business by using compostable bin bags for waste. Made from a plant-based, globally certified BF90 or KF90 series resin, Because We Care bin liners help to contain waste and associated smells by lining rubbish bins with an approved compostable solution.
After rigorous consumer testing, these bags are fully biodegradable and ideal for collecting organic waste. Once in a composting system, they quickly break down into nutrient-rich soil. The printing ink used on the outer layer of the bags is a soy- and water-based blend that is also 100% compostable.
The bags are available in a variety of sizes, including a 10-liter flat-top and a 30-liter single-wall. These bags are durable and fully decompose within 90 days in an industrial composting facility. Depending on the material used, the bags have a recommended shelf life of 9 to 15 months.
What Are Compostable Singlet Bin Liner Bags
“Singlet” style refers to those thin plastic-looking bags with handles often used as shopping bags or small waste liners.
When they’re compostable, it means they’re made from plant-based materials like corn starch or PBAT, and are certified to break down in industrial and sometimes home composting conditions.
The 30 L capacity indicates they’re sized for moderate-volume bins—common in kitchens or small offices.

A 30L compostable singlet bin liner bag is designed for the collection of organic waste in a standard-sized kitchen or office bin. Its main application is to make the process of composting food scraps and other organic material cleaner and more convenient.
Key Applications:
Kitchen Waste Caddies: The most common use is lining a kitchen caddy or a small food waste bin. This bag prevents odors and moisture from making the bin messy, as it’s designed to be breathable to help control smells and dissipate moisture. When full, you can simply tie the handles and put the entire bag into a larger compost collection bin.
Curbside Composting Programs: In areas that offer municipal or curbside composting, these bags are ideal for containing kitchen waste. They are certified to break down in the industrial facilities used for these programs, which helps to keep the compost stream clean and free of conventional plastic contamination.
General Waste Reduction: Using a compostable bag for organic waste helps to divert a significant portion of household trash from landfills. This reduces the amount of methane, a potent greenhouse gas, that is released when organic matter decomposes in an oxygen-deprived landfill environment.
