Gabion Basket Galvanised Steel

Galvanized gabion beskets are used in the construction of airports and other projects, and also for blast barriers for military purposes. Galvanized wire mesh mats or basket meshes are mainly composed of square or rectangular open welded plates. The gabion baskets are rectangular in shape, which makes them easy to lay and strong in construction.

Riverbank projects face constant hydraulic shear stress, water abrasion, and fluctuating wet/dry cycles. Ordinary galvanized mesh can rust prematurely when exposed to acidic water or UV radiation.
