Vertex International Limited started its journey with the export of Jute and Jute based products in 1985. Seven years after its inception, Vertex diversified its business and entered the garment industry in 1992 with 6 sewing lines for woven tops.
After a successful 6 years of operations, both units needed expansion to cater to the growing demands. In 1998, the production capacity was increased from 6 to 15 sewing production lines.
In 2005, Vertex RMG division decided to have their own site, where they can set up their production facilities – factories that adhered to the safety compliance standards as that was inevitable to the evolving RMG sector.
In 2006, the project started to materialize with the procurement of 6.5 acres of land in the neighborhood of EPZ, Savar, Dhaka
In 2008, ‘Vertex Wear LTD’ shifted to Savar premises.
In 2009, a new business unit – ‘Dress World LTD ‘ started its operations in the Savar premises.
In 2011, a third unit ‘Neo Fashion Ltd’ was added to the portfolio
In September 2018, Vertex RMG’s expansion plan materialized and 3 new production line was added – increasing the total production capacity of the units in Savar to 39 operating lines.
39 Sewing lines for woven tops and bottoms basic pull-on pants skirts for ladies, men, and juvenile with monthly available capacity of 0.43 million hours. 4 dedicated production lines to cater to premium brands.
