A step up transformer is a passive device, which does not provide energy, and its load capacity depends mainly on the driving power of the primary drive circuit. If the output resistance of the driving circuit is low and the output current is larger, the load capacity of the high frequency transformer is also stronger. Of course, the thickness of the wire in the transformer's own winding will also limit the maximum output power of the transformer. If the output of the transformer is too large, it may burn out the winding. However, when the load is increased, the voltage drop is severe, which is mainly due to the internal resistance of the primary drive circuit of the transformer.
