Hubei Province Hits North American Market
50 Manufacturers to Exhibit at mid-September Virtual Event
Hubei Province is the birthplace of modern industry in China, and one of the most important and longest-standing industrial and textile bases in the world. The products made in Hubei are bought and sold in every corner of the world and have been for more than 100 years.
Hubei maintains a huge current presence in the apparel and textile production market, and they constantly send their top manufacturing companies around the world in search of new business opportunities. Hubei is represented by 50 manufacturers exhibiting at the upcoming Apparel Textile Sourcing tradeshow’s Canada Virtual edition from Sept 14-16, via zoom and Manufacturer.com. The North American based tradeshow will be the fifth produced by ATS in 16 months. All ATS trade events are focused on connecting the western buyer with the world’s top manufacturers of apparel and textiles.
Hubei will be making a huge splash at ATS, bringing roughly half of all the exhibits to the event. The China Chamber of Commerce for Export of Textiles & Apparel partnered with ATS to help coordinate this significant curated group of the best producers Hubei has to offer.
Hubei has taken their significant production abilities and tradition and put their major industrial focus on the textile industry. Now establishing the formation of a complete industry system including cotton, wool, gunny textile, dyeing & finishing, knitting, color weaves, silk, chemical fiber, apparel, shoes, hats and even textile machinery. Every aspect of the apparel production market is seemingly covered by just one province, making communication and processes smoother than ever before.
This is shown by Hubei’s overall exports of textiles. They grew by 105%, to $7.6 billion in 2020, compared to $3.7 billion in 2019. Hubei is the center of China, and the heart of China’s production, especially when it comes to textiles and apparel.
